This quilt was hand stitched in a well-known pattern known as Double Wedding Ring. It has been hand quilted in white thread with beautiful flowers stitched into the sashing. The center of the wedding rings also contains a hand stitched flower.
Hand pieced and hand quilted, this pattern is very intricate with many small blocks! There is a wide variety of feed sack floral prints. There is a pale yellow fabric that is used throughout.
This quilt measures 59.5 x 85.5 inches. It is a light-weight piece with cotton batting and a white backing.
This quilt is in great vintage condition! There are 3-4 slight gray marks on the front. There are many small snags in the fabric throughout the quilt. The binding is in great condition with one tear, as photographed. Some of the yellow fabric has faded. There is one snag on the back with a few light marks. Overall, this is a sweet piece that has been beautifully preserved.
