Red and Blue Boy’s Nonsense

A rare pattern, this quilt would make a great addition to your collection! There is not another like it! It is based on an old pattern known as ‘Boy’s Nonsense’ with a unique twist by the maker. Red blocks, instead of white, were added to the edges and turned alternately each row. This created a wonderful dimension to the piece!

This quilt was hand pieced and hand quilted. A hanging sleave was added by hand on the back. This quilt feels crisp and never used!

The fabrics are all solid. The blue is such a nice dark shade, with hints of grey. The red is vibrant and makes for a lovely patriotic piece.

This quilt measures 62 x 84.5 inches. It is a light-weight piece with cotton batting and a solid white back.

CONDITION

This quilt is in great vintage condition. There are two faint spots on the front, as photographed. The back has some light tanning and a mark as outlined in the photos. The hanging sleave is slightly loose on one end. This is a one-of-a-kind quilt ready for your collection!
