This quilt contains a variety of early indigo calicos! It has been stitched entirely by hand and is a beautiful example of an early 1900s quilt. Two sides of the sashing are done in white and two in indigo.
This quilt measures 72 x 74 inches. It is a light-weight quilt with cotton batting and a white muslin backing.
This quilt is in great antique condition! There is a slight mark or two on the front. The back shows thinning. It’s amazing to see how well this quilt has been preserved! As beautiful as the day it was made.
