Bold and beautiful, this Lonestar quilt shines! The maker selected solid fabrics in red, yellow, orange, blue, and brown to create a dynamic star. It has been hand pieced in white thread. The quilting is a bit whimsical with stars and motifs. The maker’s marks are still visible where the quilting lines were traced on before being quilted.
This piece was sourced from Pennsylvania. The turkey red and chrome orange border frames this quilt perfectly!
This is a large quilt that measures 89 x 90 inches. It is a medium-weight piece with cotton batting and a solid brown back.
This quilt is in good antique condition. Once teal, the now-brown fabric has experienced dye rot. The batting is exposed in this area. The maker’s mark has been left and there is blue ink along the quilting lines. There are a few scattered stains and some toning on the front. The quilt back is in excellent condition!
Please note, every attempt is taken to detail imperfections in photos, descriptions, and video. The nature of this item does lend itself to normal age-related issues and must be taken into consideration before purchasing.
This quilt will be sold as is and was not washed. Machine washing is not recommended.
