DETAILS
This antique quilt was discovered in the small Kansas town of Hesston.
Hand pieced and hand quilted, this pattern is very intricate with many small blocks! The indigo blue fabrics pair nicely with the maroon and red fabrics. Scrap fabrics were pieced together to create beauty and utility. It is the ultimate farm-house quilt!
This quilt measures 60 x 77 inches. It is a light-weight piece with cotton batting and a white back!
CONDITION
This quilt is in good antique condition! There is fabric thinning and wear throughout the quilt. The wear appears more than what I can photograph but there are no holes through the piece. There is a small spot on the front of the quilt and storage spots on the back. The binding shows wear in some spots. Overall, this quilt is SOFT and stunning. It is an amazing piece of early textile art.
Please note, every attempt is taken to detail imperfections in photos, descriptions, and video. The nature of this item does lend itself to normal age-related issues and must be taken into consideration before purchasing.
CLEANING
This quilt will be sold as-is. Machine washing is not recommended.
